Trebbiano D'Abruzzo Colline Teramane Riserva DOC
The contrada next to Tenuta Fosso del Gallo is Contrada San Martinello.
November nineteenth: eight days after Saint Martin’s Day comes the feast of Saint Martinello. In Abruzzo tradition, it is a pretext for new merriment and new drunkenness.
19.11 is born from this folk legend, but looks beyond it, towards a new idea of Trebbiano - vertical, profound, capable of ageing with grace.
It comes from old vines nestled among the calanchi of Atri, where light refracts across the clay and the air carries the scent of silence.
A white wine that speaks softly, but lingers.
A contemplative wine that does not reveal itself at once, but rewards those who know how to wait.
An estate set within a terroir ideally suited to quality viticulture. The hillside vineyards, at elevations between 150 and 250 m above sea level, benefit from Adriatic breezes and the cool winds of the Gran Sasso massif, encouraging the grapes to ripen slowly and harmoniously.

We are in the heart of the Aterno Valley, linked to the heights of the Gran Sasso massif by the Gorges of Popoli (also known as the Gorges of Tramonti), renowned for the powerful winds that sweep through the valley, creating pronounced temperature shifts that are invaluable to the grapes' aromatic quality.
